About Tanesha

Tanesha brings over eight years of healthcare experience, including three years specializing in psychiatric and behavioral health nursing. Her diverse clinical background includes behavioral health, substance use treatment, acute care, intensive care, cardiovascular telemetry, and women's health. This broad experience allows her to approach mental health care with a comprehensive understanding of both physical and emotional well-being.

Growing up in the Caribbean, Tanesha witnessed firsthand how stigma surrounding mental health often prevented individuals from seeking the care they needed. Those experiences inspired her to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and help break down the barriers that keep people from receiving support. She is especially passionate about educating and empowering individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds, helping them understand that seeking mental health care is a sign of strength, not shame.
